Cam and groove Part B couplings eliminate the fitting of lugs or threads and allow almost instant connection to an outlet, a faucet, a tank car, storage tanks, and more. Connection is made by simply pushing the coupler over the adapter and pulling the handles down to the sides of the coupler. The couplers available in brass, aluminum or stainless steel. They are constructed for working pressures of 50 to 600 psi depending on the size of the coupler, the type of gasket, and the operating conditions. Under no circumstances should cam and groove couplings be used for compressed air or steam service. Available in sizes from 1/2” to 10”.
