Rectorseal® No.5® Special pipe thread sealant is a variation of the basic RectorSeal® No. 5® formulation where a low odor sealant with low temperature application is required. it is a non-staining, non-setting compound specifically formulated for use on gas piping or when gas detection equipment is used. Recommended for use on threaded galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, fiberglass reinforced and PVC pipe. No 5® Special may be pressurized immediately after application. Conforms to TT-S-1732.
