White Chemical WR-9 steel seal is an aqueous, polymer coating with rust arrestor that bonds to metal surface, sealing air and moisture out. Steel seal provides excellent chemical resistance and physical barrier protection against rust. The molecules of Steel Seal are joined in an adhesive rust preventive shield. One single coating protects the steel surface from severe weather (high humidity) and salt-corrosive environments. Steel Seal is non-toxic, non-hazardous, and is not considered hazardous waste as defined under Federal RCRA regulations (40 CFR 261) if discarded in an approved facility in accordance of Federal, State, and Local regulation.
