Building wire is intended for general purpose applications and may be installed in conduit, duct or other recognized raceways in wet or dry locations. The insulation is a high quality, heat and moisture resistant polyvinyl chloride compound over which a heat and light stabilized nylon jacket is tightly applied. It is listed by Underwriters’ Laboratories for use at a maximum voltage of 600 volts and a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C in dry locations, 75°C in wet locations and when exposed to oil and gasoline (only sizes 14-6 AWG are recognized as gasoline resistant)
