This feature lowers maintenance down time and part replacement costs. The effective deposit inhibitor in TR81160 works to prevent scale should your make-up water contain some hardness. Prevention of scale results in improved oil cooler and engine block heat transfer, providing better flow rates, cooler operating temperatures, and reduced maintenance costs. Plugged radiator passages from scale that has broken loose cease to be a problem.
