Cyalume PML

The Cyalume Personnel Marker Light (PML) is a green chemical light stick, with a plastic base and a metal clip, that has been designed to attach to clothing, a lifejacket, or a personal flotation device (PFD), to provide instant 360-degree illumination that can be seen up to a nautical mile away in the water and up to three miles away by air, for up to 8 hours in optimal conditions. The PML is waterproof, non-toxic, and non-flammable. To activate a light stick, peel back the plastic covering, and bend, snap and shake the tube. Each light stick has up to a four-year shelf life from date of manufacture, and meets U.S. Coast Guard requirements for Approval Series number 161.012/2/1.
